Designing and Implementing Cisco Network Programmability (NPDESI) - E-Learning and Group Mentoring

Designing and Implementing Cisco Network Programmability v.1.0 (NPDESI) is a self-study e-learning course and a 12 week group mentoring service. The combination of e-learning and group mentoring creates a perfect blend of flexibility and structure for busy network engineers who are unable to come to a regular 5 day class. Additional mentoring allows students to ask instructor questions via scheduled meetings and emails and to solidify the learnings from the course. 

 

Duration and Format

NPDESI is a self-paced e-learning course with a 12-month subscription access. Group Mentoring lasts 12 weeks with 1 hr meetings each week. Detailed schedule is listed below. 

 

Labs 

There are a total of 44 labs in NPDESI. The labs are a combination of Discovery Labs and Challenge Labs. Challenge labs are graded and show a pass / no pass score with feedback on what and why was missed. Students can perform labs an unlimited number of times during the active subscription period. 

 

Mentoring

Students will be  provided with a week by week study roadmap to help them stay on track to prepare for the NPDESI exam, This roadmap will also provide recommendations for students to take advantage of the NPDESI ELT lab access that is supplied in this package. Week #8 Friday: 8AM-9PM 
Module Four: Software Defined Networking Controllers featuring the APIC-EM and the ACI APIC
Week #9 Friday 12 noon- 1:00PM 
Week #10 Friday: 8AM-9PM 
Module Five: DevOps for Networking with Emphasis on Git, VIRL and Ansible
Week #9 Friday 12 noon- 1:00PM 
Week #10 Friday: 8AM-9PM 
Deep Dive on Selected Topics from the Student Community and Final Exam Preparation
