Exercise Workbook
35 expert level advanced networking configuration scenarios
A key element to the Cisco 360 CCIE Preparation program is to have each student perform an extensive amount of hands-on practice with CCIE level scenarios. The Cisco 360 Exercise Workbook provides the content to attain the extensive hands-on practice required to attain a CCIE level of expertise. If it takes a student ten hours to perform each of the 35 labs in this workbook, this workbook will consume at least 350 hours of student hands-on practice time. This is at more than eight continuous 40 hour weeks of hands-on practice! This is why the Cisco 360 Exercise Workbook is called the "work horse" of the Cisco 360 CCIE Learning program.
Exercise Workbook includes:
- 35 scenarios- Full 8 hour labs covering different topics from Blueprint and Troubleshooting
- Detailed answer keys - On average of 40 pages in length with detailed diagrams for Catalyst Layer 2 Topology Layout, Route Redistribution, BGP, IP Multicast
- Mentor Guide - Highly interactive and supports all 35 Exercise Workbook scenarios
- Verification tools - Cisco IOS TCL and RCMD testing and troubleshooting scripting
NOTE: This product does not include access to equipment that is required to perform these labs. This equipment must be purchased or rented separately from the sale of this Workbook. Please visit our store for more details.
Verification Tools
Another powerful tool that supports all 35 Exercise Workbook scenarios is the highly interactive Mentor Guide:
This Mentor Guide will allow each student to compare the final state of his or her pod with the output generated by the master answer key scripts. The Mentor Guide is also searchable. You can search all configurations from all Workbook scenarios to locate the use of a specific IOS configuration command in specific Workbook scenarios.
This tool offers you the following controls:
- Product — products that use Mentor Guide Assessment Labs, Exercise Workbook, CIERS class and Lessons-on-Demand, etc.
- Scenario — choose the lab that you work on at the moment
- Router/Switch — select any single device or «ALL» to run command on all devices
- Command Line
- Type in — any Cisco IOS command or proprietary NMC command
- «?» — for dynamic help that shows you the list of supported commands
- «Tab» — check what your typing options are
- «Run → » Button — click it or press enter to execute command
- « ↓ » Button — dynamic help that shows you the list of supported commands ( same as typing «?» in «Command Line»)
NOTE: This product does not include access to equipment that is required to perform these labs. This equipment must be purchased or rented separately from the sale of this Workbook.
